    Method and ease of use

  • Allergen Alert attaches to vacuum cleaner, needs upholstered furniture or carpet in room used. Requires effort of attaching collection bag and vacuuming area for 2-3 minutes.
  • Mold Test Kit is opened and placed on a table or countertop for 30 minutes. Works equally well with or without carpet.

    Instructions

  • Both Allergen Alert and Mold Test Kit come with written instructions. The Allergen Alert also includes a video.

    Results

  • Postage paid mailers are provided for both and I received reports from both tests in less than two weeks.

    What is tested?

  • Allergen Alert tests Dustmites, Cat, Dog, and Cockroach, plus four molds including Alternaria, Cladosporium, Penicillium, and Aspergillus. If you want a general overview of allergens in your home, Allergen Alert is the best choice.
  • Mold Test Kit tests molds only - 22 of them. If you want a more thorough report of molds present in your home, Mold Test Kit is the best choice.
